Does Lower Email Usage Reduce My Klaviyo Price?

Hi everyone,
I need clarification on how Klaviyo billing works.

My billing cycle is from the 10th to the 10th.
I currently have 330,000 active profiles and my plan allows 3,300,000 email sends, but I only use about 50–60% of that send limit.

My monthly cost is $3,395.

My question is:

If I don’t want to delete or suppress profiles, and I only want to reduce my email-send quota, can I customize my plan to lower the price?

I’m not using the full send allowance shouldn’t the cost be lower if I send fewer emails?

If I were to hypothetically move to a smaller profile tier (ex: 20,000 profiles), what would the pricing look like?

I just want to understand whether reducing email usage affects billing, or if pricing is strictly based on active profile count.

Thanks!

@talha.hussain

In Klaviyo Pricing is based on both (or whatever is higher for your account) where email sends are always 10X of the profiles.

So for your current plan you have 330K Profiles and 3.3M sends. If you do more of any of those your plan will increase but it won’t decrease if you do less on one of those.

In your case if you want to lower the plan you will have to suppress some of the 330K active profiles. And you can only decrees your account to a new plan depending on how much profiles you have. Lets say you lower it to 300K that would be $3195 or if you lower it to 250K that would be $2600 or for example 200K is $2300 etc..
