I have been seeing a high number of bounce rates in Apple. The reason is invalid sender address. If there is invalid sender address, then why the bounce rate is high only on Apple? Why not in gmail?
I checked the Default sender. It is fine. The DMARC, SPF & DKIM is also working good. What's the reason?

Hi @suyogp,

When we see “Invalid Sending Address” bounces within Apple, it often comes with the reason Domain not found. This can sometimes happen, even whenSPF, DKIM and DMARC are correctly set up for a few reasons:

  • Misconfigured DNS records: Make sure that the DNS records Klaviyo generated are applied to your DNS provider, and are all there and spelled correctly.
  • Propagation delay. If DNS changes were made recently, Apple’s mail servers may still be using cached or outdated DNS information.
  • Intermittent DNS issues. Sometimes DNS hosts experience short outages that cause temporary failures like this.

This type of bounce is typically temporary and occurs when Apple’s mail servers are unable to resolve the sending domain consistently. I’d recommend to continue to monitor this, and if this bounce reason doesn’t decrease, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team, and we can look into this!
