flow-values-report rejects Placed Order metric on one specific flow (400 error)

Question

I'm getting a consistent 400 from the flow-values-report endpoint when using our "Placed Order" metric as conversion_metric_id for one specific flow. Error: "Passed in conversion metric does not support querying for values data."

Details:
- Flow ID: TEWF5A
- Metric: Placed Order (U5p5yG)
- Endpoint: flow-values-report

This metric works fine as conversion_metric_id on our other flows, and this same flow works fine for non-monetary metrics (e.g. Opened Email) when requesting total/unique stats instead of value-type stats. So it's isolated to this one metric/flow combination, not a general request or account setup problem.

Timeline: started as an intermittent failure around 2026-08-21, became a full, consistent failure from 2026-09-11 onward, across both API revisions 2024-10-15 and 2025-07-15.

I don't have live chat or email support on my current plan, so posting here in case anyone from Klaviyo can take a look or point me to the right escalation path. Happy to share the full failed request/response payloads if useful.

This looks pretty well isolated already. Since Placed Order works on your other flows and this flow works with non-monetary metrics, I’d suspect something specific to that flow/metric pairing rather than the request itself. Have you compared its conversion setup against one of the working flows?
