Intergrating Custom build application and email settings

I have 2 questions if anyone can help. i search did not find any reasonable answers.

1 ) We would like to intergarte a custom build app ( mobile and web ) with klaviyo. is it possible ? i only see intergration options with a list of apps.

2 ) Also how can authenticate klaviyo to send emails through my domain instead of sending onbehalf ? ( like SPF etc )

Hi @Haneef,

1.) Almost everything is possible with Klaviyo 😉. But seriously, check out Klaviyo’s suite of APIs to understand whether Klaviyo will work for your use case. I have a custom built app and I use Klaviyo for marketing purposes and to send some transactional emails, but Klaviyo is not a transactional email service so I still have Mailchimp/Mandrill to send purely transactional emails.

2.) Check out the Domains & Hosting page in your settings tab. That will walk you through setting up a dedicated sending domain.

Hi @Haneef,

Yes, I have a few of my flows converted to transactional. I send Klaviyo events using the events API (https://developers.klaviyo.com/en/reference/track-post), and have Metric-based flows that pick up the event and fire off an email.
