Hey Folks.I sell physical products. Inside the packaging is an insert w/ a QR code that leads to a landing page. The landing page is a signup for my Klaviyo list. Unfortunately, there’s no connection between my landing page provider and Klaviyo. So I need to move subscribers over manually. BUT, Klaviyo says that when someone signs up to my list, I should “strike while the iron is hot” and have the welcome email flow begin to send to them automatically. How can I do this without spending $90/month with Unbounce or something.Probably there’s a simple solution but i’m a pretty big newb in general.Any help is appreciated.Max
Hi, I have a segment of people who purchased from me during a particular time. I want to ask them to send me photos of their product in situ. However some of the people on this list have already sent me photos and I want to remove them from the segment manually so they don’t get this request. Is there a way to remove a person manually without deleting their profile altogether? Thanks
Hello,Sometimes, I want to target several SKUs at one time, but it takes a really long time to repeat the same process for each SKU.Is there a way to input multiple properties at once? (I tried a comma, but it didn’t work)Ex. I want to target people who’ve viewed at least 1 of 20 SKUs on our site in the last 30 days. To accomplish this, I would need to:What someone has done (or not done) Has Viewed Product → at least once → in the last → 30 → days where Product SKU equals [SKU]Then I would have to repeat 20 times.Would be great if we can copy the above so at least don’t have to redo all the steps again Better if we can just separate inputs with a comma, or semicolon…Thank you.
Can’t seem to find any information related to this; how do I delete a custom property? I don’t mean removing the property from someone’s profile; I’m talking about deleting the property itself. I thought removing it from all the profiles that show it would automatically delete it, but apparently that’s not the case.Thanks, -oo
Hi Community!There are several thousand profiles that have an incorrect City, State and Country assigned to them. I’ve uploaded a CSV file to try to overwrite the values, but I was unsuccessful.It’s important to note that I don’t have the profiles’ correct City, State or Country; so the CSV file I uploaded contained blank entries for the City, State, and Country; I was hoping that may overwrite the incorrect values, but it didn’t.Is there a way that the incorrect values can be scrubbed from these records?Thanks,Bill
I want to create a segment of people that do not have a specific custom profile property on their profile. Is that possible? The custom profile property is a boolean field, so I’m not looking for people that have “custom_profile_property” = true or “custom_profile_property” = false. I want people who don’t have that field at all.
Hi everyone, I was wondering how you guys would build a sunset segment post-IOS 15 ? Would you only have segment with clicks ?Would you create 2 sunset flows (one for Apple privacy opens and one for non Apple privacy opens ?) Hi there. I'm creating a customer segment based on what a user has NOT done, and the option for 'has NOT' has disappeared - - it defaults to HAS and I am unable to change to has NOT. I have been able to create segments in the past based on what a user has NOT done. I am wanting to create a segment of users who have NOT opened an EDM from us in the past X days. Is anyone else experiencing this? I’ve tried to submit an enquiry through the email function, but it’s just hanging :(
After Creating A Custom Unsubscribe Page How Do I Create Segments For People Who Have Selected Their New Propertes?
Hey so I just went through Klaviyo’s how to create a custom unsubscribe page—bums me out that it’s only possible knowing how to code. Anyway, I just tried to make a segment for people who want to change their preferences to only hearing from us 2x a week, 1x a week, 1x a month. I am assuming because I just created the Custom Unsubscribe page, and there is no one with the properties yet, I cannot actually go ahead and create the segments? Can one please help me? The first step in calculating retention rate is to find the number of customers who purchased from your store last year (between 365 to 730 days ago). The 365 to 730 days ago is that from today? Is the timeline I attached in the image correct?
Hey guys, So I am looking to figure out how to do something - Our company has subscribers and one time purchasers. We have an order confirmation email that goes out to all recipients, both subscribers and one time purchasers. I want to test out a feature where the delivery date of the order will only be displayed to one time purchasers only. All orders in shopify from subscribers are tagged with a “subscriber” shopify tag. So I’m trying to figure out how to create a code to add into the existing order confirmation email so that a one time purchaser will be able to see the delivery date but a subscriber will not see this. How can I achieve this? I don’t want to create a separate email for this.I’d rather input a bit of code into the existing email to do this. Thanks!
I installed Klaviyo on Shopify.Klaviyo imported all our customers to "Profiles". I can not take customers from "Profiles" and add them to any list. I have searched everywhere and can not find an answer to this simple question:How do I import all our current subscribers from Shopify into a Klaviyo mailing list?????? I did read that I can import a csv file, but damn, that is a stupid way to do this.Is the only way to import the signed up customers from Shopify to Klaviyo is to use a csv file? UPDATE:I have tried multiple times to import the csv that I downloaded from Shopify. I keep getting this message no matter what I change in the import "645 records skipped: mismatched data type Check that the correct type was selected for each column during field mapping.' Our list is 645 total, thus nothing is imported. UPDATE #2:My csv file I am trying to import is now down to just a few columns, name, company, address and tags, and still the same message "645 records skipped: mismatched data typ
When I imported (synced) my Mailchimp contacts into Klaviyo, Klaviyo created many errors in the profile properties, especially for phone number and location information (city, state/region, country, zip code, latitude longitude). I spent considerable time populating a csv file to correct the errors and then imported the file into Klaviyo. The import successfully corrected errors that involved replacing one value (the incorrect one) with another. However, for those properties where I tried to delete the incorrect value (rather than replacing it with another value), it was unsuccessful – the incorrect value remained. In other words, in the imported csv file, there were some items for which I tried to replace an incorrect property value with a blank, but it didn’t work – the incorrect value was not replaced with a blank. How can I delete incorrect values from properties?

Does anyone know of a way to create a segment via API? Im trying to automate creating a segment to contain all profiles in the account. There is an endpoint to create a list through the API, but I cant find an endpoint to create a segment.The reason I ask here is because I have noticed that there there are API endpoints that exist but are not included in the documentation. Possibly because they have been deprecated.If anyone has any input here it would be much appreciated! Thanks!
1- How do I add subscribers to another list other than the one that initiated the flow? In the orange arrow, I want to copy them to the group, Receiving Welcome Series Emails as well.2- Also, is there a way to add subscribers to a new group/list once they finish an email sequence?
I know that the profile data under “How They Found You” in the “Information” section is set automatically using utm parameters. Is there a way to set or update this manually either within a flow or using a bulk sheet? I can only seem to access “Initial Source” in flows and none of the other properties (Medium, Campaign, Content, Term). I can export all the properties (Initial Source, Initial Source Medium, etc etc) in a bulk export but I can’t update these fields when I re-upload a bulk sheet.
I’m using the standard Klaviyo list subscribe form as a landing page for an email flow giving general engagement profiles the opportunity to opt-in to email marketing.For those that subscribe via the form, despite them now being ‘subscribed’ to our contact list, their Klaviyo profiles are not being appended with a consent status for email (see screenshot below).I’ve tried adding a custom field of consent status but can’t do so as the editing options are limited in the Klaviyo builder. These users are meant to be sent a discount code after subscribing but, due to them not having email consent, they are being made eligible for the flow that send this code.Considering this is automated in flows, I would like avoid a manual solution where possible.Any thoughts, comments or solutions would be greatly appreciated!
Hi!I’m very new to Klayvio and seem to have synced up the “Newsletter” list in Klayvio with my Shopify account successfully. However, I haven’t switched over from my current ESP yet. In prep, I imported a “suppression” list to Klayvio. I wanted to ensure this list will be kept current when contacts unsubscribe from today, so I “unsubscribed” in my current ESP to test the functionality in Klayvio. I am “not subscribed” in Shopify, but for some reason that hasn’t synced over to Klayvio and I’m still on the “newsletter” list and appear as “subscribed” in the user profile on Klayvio.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
