Why have to apply for a toll free number again?

Hi everyone, I just started experimenting with SMS messaging.

I noticed in March that I could reach out to my customers via SMS, but at that time, I didn't have any customer numbers.

So after I completed everything,  included applied for a free US marketing number, I went to collect subscription numbers.

Now I am ready to start sending SMS to my existing subscribers, but I found that I need to apply for a new US number. However, I applied for the number in March.

Why do I have to apply for a different number again? Does this mean that the number I applied for in March will no longer be applicable?

    Hi @Lily513 !

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! It is likely that your toll free number expired due to inactivity. You can resubmit a TFN request following the steps outlined in our guide here: Understanding toll-free number verification .

Verification takes around 2–5 business days to complete!

I hope this helps, and let me know if you have any additional questions.
