Branded Sending Domain Stuck on “Action Required” Despite Correct DNS Records

Hi Klaviyo Community,

I'm trying to activate our branded sending domain send.terioandco.com using Dynamic routing.

It's been over 3 days, and the domain still shows "Action required" with the message "Taking longer than expected to verify."

Here's what we've confirmed:

  • All four Klaviyo NS records (ns1–ns4.klaviyo.com) show green checkmarks.

  • The DMARC record is verified.

  • The TXT record klaviyo-site-verification=QShiR9 is correctly added at @ in GoDaddy.

  • The TXT record is publicly visible and confirmed directly through GoDaddy's authoritative nameserver.

  • Our Klaviyo Public API Key / Site ID is QShiR9, matching the TXT record.

The problem:

Klaviyo still shows an orange warning beside the TXT verification record, preventing domain activation.

Additionally, clicking Manage DNS zone displays:

"Unable to load DNS records for this domain."

We've already confirmed the DNS configuration and would prefer not to delete the domain or switch routing types unnecessarily.

Has anyone experienced this issue? Could a Klaviyo team member help investigate why the TXT verification isn't completing despite the record being publicly available?

Thanks in advance!

Is it just the txt verification that is missing? Some domain providers don’t want the @ so maybe you can try to see if you can leave that empty in your dns settings and see if Klaviyo is able to verify it afterwards.

Other possibility I can think of is that GoDaddy doesn’t let you use NS-Records maybe cause it’s not included in your plan?! In that case you would need to try CNAME Records but I would try to fix the txt record if that is the only thing klaviyo can’t find right now.

Thanks for your suggestions!

Yes, the TXT verification is the only record showing an issue. We've confirmed that GoDaddy is publishing the TXT record correctly at the root domain (@), and it's publicly visible through the authoritative nameservers.

All four Klaviyo NS records are also showing green checkmarks inside Klaviyo, along with DMARC.

The only remaining issue is that Klaviyo isn't accepting the TXT verification. Additionally, the "Manage DNS zone" option returns "Unable to load DNS records for this domain."

Could this be an issue on Klaviyo's side, or is there another verification step we should check?

It looks like you have two klaviyo-site-verification keys in your DNS records. That in itself shouldn’t be an issue as you can use the same branded sender domain in several klaviyo accounts but maybe that’s why it can’t be verified automatically. Best to reach out to the klaviyo support to check if they can manually verify it or if they see any other issue with your setup.

Thanks for checking! The QShiR9 record matches our current Klaviyo account, while Wiv2Wk may belong to a previous account.

Since the required DNS records are publicly visible and the NS records are verified, could a Klaviyo staff member check whether the two verification records are causing a conflict or whether manual verification is possible?
