Hello,

We have a client that is moving from a Shopify site to another company. They are wondering how they will be able to keep all of their customer data and information on each profile. Can you advise will a customer’s purchase history or data remain on Klaviyo even after there has been a website migration to another company?

Hi @E_Kell

Thank you for posting in the community!

Yes, the data will remain in your Klaviyo account if you change your CMS. You just have to change to change metrics across flows, segments, dynamic elements and reporting. The old shopify metrics will still be available for future reporting as well.

I hope this helps :-)

Thanks annasophiefc,

This retailer is not changing CRM, they are changing website provider and moving away from Shopify.

Can you confirm that if they change Website provider from Shopify to another ecommerce company, will the Shopify customer purchase history and data be retained in Klaviyo on their customer profiles?

@E_Kell Do you know which ecommerce provider they are moving to? I will ask internally to be sure.
