We have a number of flows that trigger SMS and Emails to our customers when certain events are sent via the API. In some cases there can be a large number of events in a short period of time (e.g. user cancels a large number of listings at once or they sell a number of items at once)—because 1 event = 1 notification the user can be bombarded with a lot of messaging in a short period of time which is a poor experience.

We’d like to be able to pool these events of a period of time (5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, etc) and then send a single notification which can use the array of events to fill out variables in the email/SMS templates.

This would enable things like weekly digest emails and quieter messaging e.g. “You sold 7 items today” rather than 7 emails & text messages.

If you need to make a pool, I suggest doing the development logic processing before sending the API; this is much more convenient.
