Four brands are heading to a state fair and we are collecting emails under one “generic name” (the name of the bar we are creating together). I use Klaviyo but not sure what other brands use for email marketing. What are my options so that people are subscribe immediately to my Klaviyo email list so that I don’t have to transfer the list and start to opt in process again? Could I use my own Klaviyo account to collect all emails? Yes, correct? But the email subscription will come from my email account name, which might be confusing to people. Any ideas? I guess I can have the first part of the email be the name of the bar. I hope this make sense.

I’d use your own Klaviyo account to collect the emails, but make sure the signup form clearly states who people are subscribing to. Brand the form and welcome email with the shared bar name, then explain that it’s a collaboration between the four brands. If all four brands plan to contact subscribers later, be sure the opt-in language explicitly mentions that so consent is clear from the start. This keeps the process simple and avoids having to re-collect permissions later.
