Gif not looping - all settings correct

I made a forever looping gif in photoshop and it appears to be working correctly in my computer finder. Once uploaded to Klaviyo it does not loop (it plays through once and then stops). The file is 4.8mb, but I also tried it at 2.8mbs. I triple checked exporting settings and the exported file works fine on my computer!

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Agree with @Riffat Junaid, if you made any modifications with the built-in Klaviyo image editor, it can sometimes strip out the animation.

Also, double check when you exported, you are exporting it as an animated GIF.  You can usually test this by opening up the file by itself in a browse (Click on File → Open File → Your Image) - if it doesn’t work in your browser - you may have exported the image incorrectly.

Finally, try sending yourself a preview test email.  If you are only viewing through the Klaviyo editor, it may not always work as intended.  Just note, some email clients will stop a “forever” animated GIF so try this on a few different devices/clients to verify.

It looks like your GIF isn't looping in Klaviyo due to a few possible reasons:

1. Klaviyo Support: Klaviyo may not fully support looping GIFs in all email clients, especially with large files.

2. File Size: Try optimizing the GIF further to reduce the size below 2MB.

3. Email Client Compatibility: Some clients (like Outlook) don’t support animated GIFs properly.

4. Re-export Settings: Use "Save for Web" in Photoshop with "Looping Options" set to "Forever."

Try reducing the file size and testing in different email clients.

Did you crop the GIF while saving it? I noticed that GIFs stop moving whenever I crop them within Klaviyo while saving.
