For a first order sign up discount can I use unique coupons and integrate with WIX so the coupons actually work when a customer places an order through my website? If so how do I do this?

You can absolutely use coupons created in Klaviyo with your Wix integration. I would first ensure that:
Ensure that your users, if using a Wix form or via checkout, are getting tagged with the 'subscribed' tag in Wix. If this doesn’t happen, then they will not be added to the List that is connected to your Welcome flow which will have the coupon code in question.
