I’ve seen it done both ways. It largely comes down to your needs. Our plugin is primarily geared towards those using the WooCommerce eCommerce platform, as it tracks checkout events, viewed products, and site activity. If you are just using a Wordpress site and not WooCommerce, you may also have success using our plugin, as it will allow you to track site activity and use Klaviyo forms. If you’re not running a “traditional” ecomm setup and simply looking to do “more basic” operations i.e. running a Wordpress blog - Zapier would be a good alternative.
You could also add Klaviyo's onsite javascript manually if you'd just like to use Klaviyo signup forms: How to Install Klaviyo.js to Publish Signup Forms.
