Placed Order zero times is including customers who purchased

Hi,

I’m trying to create a segment where I include people who have never puchased ever (all time) and have been in my list at least 3 months. Somehow it’s including people who have purchased still.

Here is the definition I have created, I’m really confused why this wouldn’t work?

Thanks,

    Hi @AndrewBu ,

Thank you for sharing your query in the community!

After reviewing the definition you’ve shared, it seems the issue lies in the use of the OR condition instead of the AND condition. To achieve your goal of including people who have never purchased and have been in your list for at least 3 months, your segment definition should be:

    • Placed order zero times over all time AND
    • Properties about someone created in the last 90 days

Currently, using the OR condition allows contacts who meet either of these criteria to qualify for the segment. This is why you’re seeing both purchasers and non-purchasers included. By using the AND condition, you ensure that only contacts who meet both criteria—never having purchased and being in your list for at least 3 months—are included in the segment.

I hope this helps clarify the issue. Please let me know if you need any further assistance!

Oh it was the shading of the and button that got me! So the ‘OR” was on.

I understand and/or well and couldn’t understand why it wasn’t working. Doh!

    Thank you
