Hi

I want people to confirm their email address. Their status is ‘SUBSCRIBED’ when they confirm their email but what do I put as their status when people don’t subscribe? UNSUBSCRIBED?

Thanks.

Adrian

Hello @Tudsy

When people don't confirm their email address, their status should typically be set to "UNCONFIRMED" or "PENDING" instead of "UNSUBSCRIBED."

SUBSCRIBED: When a user confirms their email address.
UNCONFIRMED or PENDING: When a user has not yet confirmed their email address
UNSUBSCRIBED: When a user opts out or unsubscribes from the mailing list after confirming their email.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks,

Amit

Hello @Tudsy

How about Never Subscribed? This way you can easily differentiate between Subscribed, Unsubscribed and Never Subscribed.

This 3rd status can be used to target customers via Form/Popups to update their subscription to Subscribed
