With test emails, it is completely expected to see 'preview' for the code. In live emails though, we will actually show the unique code instead of ‘preview’. If you're concerned, you can send a one time email to yourself to test.
Why do my test emails always say "PREVIEW" in the coupon?

when i send a test email to myself i still see PREVIEW at the end of the code rather than a unique code/test. Is that normal? I am talking about Shopify Coupons. As far as I understand Shopify creates unique codes automatically, then why I do not see the unique code inside the email test?

This is normal, yes! We don’t want to use up a real coupon on a test send, so you’ll often see COUPONNAME-PREVIEW when you send a test email with a coupon in it.
