if you compare the code source of shopify cancellation notices, there is all sorts of programming in there related to gift cards and stuff, that are not included in your shopify notification base code.

Hi Julie, Check out the screenshots of Shopifys Order Cancellation email compared to Klaviyo’s… No images and no financials… unless they dont show up in preview mode, but there literally seems like major components are missing from this template in order to provide the customer the same data as native Shopify. Thank you

Customers location messed up?

Hi Cass,The problem I was running into on my custom subscribe form at https://straye.myklpages.com/p/subscribe was that if I did not include a Country field in my form, when the user subscribed, it ended up creating a profile with no location data whatsoever. It said Location: unknown in the profiles list on my account. Since I am sending out an automated welcome email to to all domestic US subscribers, it became imperative that they be tied to a country. I added this field to the form for this purpose… But this is just for my custom subscribe form where the user was not recognized  for their location. The signup modals and flyouts I have installed at straye.com have not trouble recognizing where the user is located. It was just when they hit my custom subscribe form when the disconnect was happening. The Country and Region are required fields on the subscribe form now, so it can make the logic happen now. I have been experimenting with the custom subscribe forms, and so far I think I

Subscriber Page missing? How can I create a (full page) subscribe page

Finding info on how to set up a custom subscribe page is hard. But setting up unsubscribe pages is easy. Klaviyo offers hosted pages to build your own pages, but you’ll have to just bit the bullet, keep hacking and testing.

Customers location messed up?

I am a new customer here, and I don’t sell outside the u.s. I have s lot of new customers coming in with US billing and shipping addresses too, but klaviyo is inserting other country locations, forcing to to segment based on if recent orders exist in addition to all the other logic i need to do.it’s unfortunate.

When the discount code available is better than the Discount code in the Flow.

I actually figured it out because this software is so damn amazing. I ended up adding a conditional split, so if the checkout contained a DISCOUNT Code for the Bogo, then I send them a cloned message of my 35% OFF mailer, and just change the language to say, DONT MISS THE BOGO… and add the BOGO code for 50% off to that group.If the Checkout does not contain the BOGO discount code, then send them the regular 35% mailer I had to begin with.This way, the customer receives a reminder with the actual code they started with.

Added to cart snippet not working

Try adding the name of the class to your script without the . before the class name,

I got help today on this. For Turbo theme you need to remove the . before add_to_cart<script type="text/javascript">  var _learnq = _learnq || [];  document.querySelector('add_to_cart').addEventListener('click',function (){    _learnq.push(['track', 'Added to Cart', item]);  });</script>Now the Add to cart Trigger is functioning. Sweet

Correction… I added the script with .add_to_cart, not .add-to-cart:<script type="text/javascript">  var _learnq = _learnq || [];  document.querySelector('.add_to_cart').addEventListener('click',function (){    _learnq.push(['track', 'Added to Cart', item]);  });</script> I am wondering if this needs to be the only place this exact class exists in the code of the button other than the script.If I view the source of my product detail, I see other instances of “action_button add_to_cart” in the sorurce for the mini-cart such as:I Agree with the Terms & Conditions</label> <a href="/pages/policies" target="_blank" class="tos_icon">[View Terms]</a></p> <button type="submit" class="action_button add_to_cart"> Could these be conflicting?

Hi there,I use the Turbo theme as well and also placed the Add to cart trigger script as follows:<script type="text/javascript">  var _learnq = _learnq || [];  document.querySelector('.add-to-cart').addEventListener('click',function (){    _learnq.push(['track', 'Added to Cart', item]);  });</script>I too have been unable to add the Abandoned Cart Reminder Flow to my site because there is a red x that states: This flow requires setting up a special "Added to Cart" metric.Also, I think Klaviyo should rename their other Abandon Cart Flow, because, in all truth, they are Abandoned Checkout Flows, not Abandoned Cart Flows.I will report back if time is all it takes to wait for an existing profile to add to cart, but this script has been installed for days and my store does a lot of business per day.Many thanks,
