Why total revenue Shopify is strangely lower than attributed revenue of Klaviyo?

Hi guys,Hope you all are doing great! I was enjoying the “weekend is coming vibe”. Suddenly, my boss brought this to my attention: Danny, why in May the first and the second, the total revenue from Shopify was lower than the attributed revenue of Klaviyo 😱? Honestly, I have no idea why was that. But I made a promise to answer his question by next week. While finding the response for him (which is outrageous), I would love to hear from you guys about this matter. How Placed Order Metric Is Defined?

Hi guys,As our business is doing well lately. My team is reviewing performance by some metrics, and the placed order metric (in campaign performance) is among the top priorities. But somehow the numbers in Klaviyo and in Shopify don't match each other. For example, we assume the number of orders and the sales would be equal when it comes to the 2 platforms' analytics. But they all turn out to be different. Sometimes, the gap is huge 😱 (to be clearer, we get data from Shopify Marketing tab). Can you guys help us with some insights here, we would appreciate all of the answers 😋!Best regards,Danny Nguyen

Is It Possible If I Enter A Contact List Manually Through Our Sign Up Form

Hi guys,Like the title. It's like cold mailing, but instead of reaching out to them directly, I will enter their e-mail address into our Klaviyo system through our sign-up form first 🤡. Have you guys ever thought of this? I know this will definitely violate those EIP regulations, but IDK how extreme it will get to do that, anyone could guide me 😸. Is it legal to ask our subscribers to drag our mails from promotion tab to primary section?

Hi guys,Hope you all doing great ✍🏻. Lately I’ve been caring more about my deliverability. I read some documents that say we should ask our customers to drag mails of my brand from promotion tab to primary inbox. IDK if i violate any rules for doing that. But it seems like a very good idea 🤔. And if it’s possible, I think I will execute it like a footer in our mail series. What do you guys think of this? Can we add a first name before our sender name?

Hi guys,Our sender name has been the same ever since we founded our brand. It's simply our brand name. I lately followed some of my competitors' channel and see that they custom their sender name a bit. For example first_name@brand_name, this is the common way. With the sender name regulation, do you guys think it can be harmful in some ways (or in the future maybe)? and if the answer is “no". Could you guys name some benefits from it. I have a question about flow filtering

Hi guys,We're trying to optimise our flow structure. I have one question for all of my flows. For example the Abandoned Checkout Flow. We use a filter at the trigger section as Placed Order to restrict people who place orders after they checkout! It's plain!But for the people who don't check out, they will receive our mail series, my question would be, do we need to add one condition split for each email #1, email #2, and email #3 as placing order 0 time (for ceasing the flow if they place orders after reading one of these emails) or the filter at trigger already does that part? Looking forward to your responses.Best regards

Is it possible to send emails to implicit consent profiles?

Hi everyone,I do have a question about how you guys deal with implicit consent profiles. In my case, these are the people that give us their mail addresses but they do not click to opt in our email marketing. We still send flows for these people (abandoned check out, browse abandoned, viewed abandoned, etc.) but tend to not send any campaignsMy question is:Is it possible to send flows and campaigns to these people?

Can google sheets be a dashboard containing all customers' touch points and data?

Hi guys,Since our account in Klaviyo has been fully set up in terms of flows. Now it’s time for us to do data analytics. Given the Klaviyo analytics tab has been enough for all the things we want, we still want a customer journey dashboard created based on google sheets (for easily using). The dashboard can contains all the customers’ touch points from us (which flow they are in right now, which messages they have received and are going to be received in the future, how many items they have bought from us, what products did they seen the last time, etc). Pardon me if my question seems silly, because Klaviyo has just been my first email application to dive in. Any suggestions, recommendation, guidelines I would appreciate all. Hope you guys have a great holiday coming up.Best regards,Danny
