Issue with sunset flow

Hello Klaviyo Friends!I have a sunset flow asking subscribers if they still want to be on our list. If so, they click a button that takes them to a specific URL on our site. When they click that link, they are added to a segment that triggers another flow that sends them a coupon. Today I noticed something odd, 2 subscribers clicked the link more than 2 months ago (one in January, one in February), but JUST got added to the segment that triggers the coupon this morning. Also, even though they are now part of the segment, they were not sent an email. (I don’t have any flow filters or profile filters on the coupon flow.) See screenshots below. The coupon flow *seemed* to be working fine before and after they clicked. Machine Opens vs Apple MPP opens

A few questions about analytics:1. What is the difference between an apple privacy open and a machine open?2. Is there a circumstance where a machine open could be true, but it’s NOT an apple privacy open?3. If the answer to 2 is yes, is there a way to get a report, or build a segment of subscribers, to see how many opens are machine opens? I have looked, and haven’t seen this metric as an option, even though machine open is part of the metadata connected to opens.I feel as though I have seen a lot more machine opens lately, but I don’t know if it has always been that way and I’m just now noticing, or if it is actually increasing. If I could run a report or build a segment, then I could at least know if my concerns are valid or not.

Email Received AND Bounced

I have a profile that shows the last several emails we sent were received, and that those same emails bounced (soft – mailbox unavailable/full). Most show the bounce with the same timestamp as received, but the most recent send shows the bounce several hours after it was received. I’m wondering if anyone else has encountered this, and if there is a way to know which metric is true – my guess is that the emails bounced. Also, I’m guessing the 7 soft bounce rule that suppresses a profile will not apply in this case, since it looks as though emails were received in between the bounces – correct? Screenshot showing the same emails being received and bouncing Screenshot showing details of bounced email

Profile shows emailed opened when it was not actually opened

I use a gmail account to test emails, sometimes putting + and extra letters or numbers after the real email address, so I can test forms, flows, etc. without having to create an actual new email address. Today I noticed on my most recent + gmail address, it showed I opened a welcome email, when in fact, I never had opened that email, but only a holiday email – see image below; each time I opened the holiday email it recorded the welcome email being opened, too. On a different + gmail address, it showed I opened the holiday email, when I never opened it for that account. Has anyone else run into this? Any ideas as to why it shows both emails being opened?

When is a product no longer "recently viewed" - ?

We are currently using a Recently Viewed Product feed; can anyone tell me when a product is no longer considered recently viewed?For context, we just created one product feed for customers who have viewed products, and another for those who have not. The logic I’m using for customers who have viewed product isperson.ViewedItems|length >= 1However, this includes customers who haven’t viewed a product in a long time, so the items they see end up being the fall back content.I’d like to add logic to the statement so that it would only show to customers who actually have recently viewed products, something like:person.ViewedItems|length >= 1 and person.ViewedItems|[within last 30 days]However, I can’t find any documentation that tells me if this is possible, and what the logic would actually look like.

Is there a way to test the text-only version of an email?

I typically edit the text-only version of our emails so they look cleaner; I also remove any show/hide content logic, and only include info I want all customers to see. With our next campaign I would like to leave some of the logic in place; is there a way I can send a test email of the text version?Thank you.

Un-suppressing profiles after a sunset flow

Hello! We just launched a sunset flow that asks customers if they still want to be on our list; it is sent to profiles who have been on the list for 180 days or more, but haven’t opened or clicked an email in the last 180 days. The email promises a coupon if they click the “Keep Me On The List” button. If they click the button, they are added to a segment, which triggers the coupon. So far, this process is working fine.The sunset flow adds a profile property of Unengaged = Yes (this is a text field, not a Boolean) to any subscriber who has not opened or clicked the button within 10 days of receiving it. My plan was to suppress anyone with the Unengaged profile property. However, I'm not sure of the best way to make sure profiles are un-suppressed if they click the “Keep Me On The List” button AFTER the 10 days has passed.My initial thought was to create a conditional split on the flow that triggers the coupon, so that if their profile has Unengaged = Yes, it is updated to Unengaged = R

Profile Updated vs Last Active

Can anyone help me understand the difference between Profile Updated and Last Active?I realize that many times, the day/time stamp will be the same - if a subscriber opens an email, the Last Active and Profile Updated will both reflect the time the email was opened.I’m wondering - is there any case where they could be different? For example, at our brick & mortar retail stores, employees can update a customer’s information using the list’s subscription landing page - and I thought perhaps this would be recorded as Profile Updated, but NOT Last Active.  However, in my own tests, this does not seem to be the case; both fields continue to be the same. This leads me to more questions:1 - If Profile Updated and Last Active are always the same, why are both included in a subscriber’s profile?2 - If they are not always the same, why can I export Last Active, but not Profile Updated?Any information is appreciated! Thank you!
