How necessary is it to have double opt in enabled?

I feel the extra step of confirming the subscription is really harming the sign up rates. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Cross Sell Strategy - General

Hello Klaviyo Community,I’m in the process of developing a cross-sell flow strategy for a luxury furniture brand.I’m seeking guidance on the best approach to designing this flow without specific products or collections triggering it. As the store is just starting out. I’m only creating 1 cross sell flow for the store for now. So the goal is to generate repeat purchases. The down side is I’m missing out on the more relevant recommendations I can provide by using specific products/collections as the trigger.I would greatly appreciate your expertise and advice on the following aspects of the strategy: Content and messaging: How to I best present relevant products to the customer to encourage repeat purchases? Additional tips and best practices: Are there any other suggestions, tips, or best practices you can share when it comes to designing a successful cross-sell flow for a luxury furniture brand, considering the absence of specific products or collections? Can you retrospectively edit a template and apply the changes to all emails using it?

Rather than going through all the emails individually and applying the changes? I’m fixing my entire welcome series doing the same few things over and over. Just wondering if there's any way around it?

Beginner email marketer - working with a new store (>10 email list) looking for advice

This is my first time working with a client. The store I am working with has a large instagram following (300k) and are just setting up their email marketing channel, they have not yet leveraged their following to grow the listI have created some core flows for them (welcome series, cart, browser, checkout abandon) all tested and I’m happy with them. All these flows are 9 emails long and 11-14 days long - is this too long for a new store? I am now working on their winback, upsell, sunset series etc.I have created a pop up form which is currently being A/B tested   Looking for some advice for my best next step once I have the rest of the flows complete.Is there anything crucial I need to do before we start leveraging their IG following to grow the list? Thanks Gary

Client wants to scrape emails and cold email for this store

I’ve recently started working with a client. He want’s to scrape emails from instagram and other place from the internet and cold email for his shopify store. Is this legal?also I’m trying to tell him that it can seriously affect his deliverability as people will be reporting as spam.Would I be correct in saying this?

How to accurately assign language tags to a large list (15k)

I have a potential client who has an apparel store based in Montreal, Canada. 80-90% of his audience are French-speaking and the rest speak English.He wants to accurately tag new and existing members of the list so that they receive communications in their native languageA website pop-up form with a check box is one optionOr surveying the list asking them what their preferences areBut people who enter the list via making a purchase/website footer forms do so without being tagged.How can we most accurately assign language tags to all of the profiles?Merci very much

Can you batch send flow emails?

I have a client that wants to import a list of 7500 emails into Klaviyo that he has collected over the years. He thinks that by now some of the leads could be stale.He wanted me to build him a welcome flow repurposing all the blog articles on his website and import the list of contacts to put them through the flow. Hoping that they will contact him for his service.He has not sent emails at this scale from the domain and has never sent an email from Klaviyo. What are my best steps to stop all of these emails going to spam? Is a flow even the right option here?

Links in emails go to a redirect notice

I’m creating a campaign email for a client. I’ve set up a static block with the products, each has a link attached. When I send myself a preview and click on the links I go to a redirect page first.  Why is this happening? And how do I prevent it?
