Question

roduct blocks link to myshopify.com instead of custom domain (free account, no ticket access)

Hi, my product blocks link to 6p0wqs-ah.myshopify.com instead of my primary domain www.fanyfabulous.com. I understand support needs to change this setting on their end, but my free-plan support period has ended. Could someone from the Klaviyo team help?

Second question: My coupon is set to "30 days, starting at send time". Does Klaviyo generate new code batches with new expiry dates automatically?

Thank you! Warm Regards David

Hi David,

Happy to help!

Yes—both URLs show the same FANYFabulous storefront, but Klaviyo’s Shopify product blocks default to the store’s myshopify.com product URLs.

Our support team can change the product-block URL base to www.fanyfabulous.com, but this is a backend Shopify integration setting that your team cannot change on your own. It affects product blocks and product feeds. As a one-off request, I have initiated this for you, but in the future this will require a formal request through our support team.

I checked the existing product links for your product feed before applying this change and it looks like they are redirecting anyways:

Ex.

https://6p0wqs-ah.myshopify.com/products/ritch-logo-baseball-jacket-navy?utm_source=Klaviyo&utm_medium=email&_kx=

to

https://www.fanyfabulous.com/products/ritch-logo-baseball-jacket-navy?utm_source=Klaviyo&utm_medium=email&_kx=

I have gone ahead and adjusted the base url for your integration. Please follow up with our support team if this returns any issues and reference our discussion here!

As for your coupon question, with “30 days, starting at send time,” Shopify/Klaviyo generates coupon codes as needed, typically in batches. New batches are generated automatically when the current batch is depleted or when a new day requires a new batch. However, recipients may receive codes from the same batch and therefore share the same expiration timestamp; the expiration is not necessarily recalculated uniquely for every recipient. There may also be a one-day buffer beyond the selected duration.
