Title: OAuth app pending review for over a month. Has anyone experienced this?

Hi everyone,

I submitted my OAuth app for approval more than a month ago, but the status still shows “Submitted for review” under Integrations → Manage apps. The app currently has 5 installs.

Has anyone here recently gone through the app review process? How long did it take, and is there a recommended way to follow up or check whether anything is missing from my submission?

If a Klaviyo team member comes across this post, I’d also appreciate any guidance on getting a status update.

Thanks for your help!

Hi @Miles Mailmend ,

Thanks for reaching out on this! I hear you that waiting more than a month without an update is frustrating. I’ve looked into this further, and there isn’t currently a published review timeline. The Submitted for review status only confirms that the submission is pending. Support does not have visibility into an app’s position in the review queue.

Klaviyo has also shared that app reviews are temporarily on hold while the review process is being updated. The review team will follow up by email when reviews reopen, or if the app is approved or changes are needed. In the meantime, you can open the app under Integrations → Manage apps and confirm that all required details, redirect and install URLs, testing instructions, documentation, scopes, and security information are complete. The app review guide and app listing requirements cover those items.

Your five installs meet the documented install-count threshold, provided they are active customer installs with API activity. There is no need to resubmit solely because the review is taking longer. While the app is pending, customers can still install it using the app’s install URL, although they may see a “not reviewed by Klaviyo” notice.

I hope this offers some clarification! Let me know if you have any questions.

Hey @Miles Mailmend

I will tag @GabbyEsposito @Temi O.  here so that they can check the status with the right team on Klaviyo's side.

I think klaviyo requires at least 5 active installs from real customer accounts that are actively using your app. Test accounts don't count (submission guide). Since you're right at 5, I'd double check that all of them are real customers and are actually using the app.

I hope this helps. Cheers
