I use a Wix integration with Klaviyo and I noticed it’s not pulling all my abandoned carts from Wix to enter my Klaviyo flow. On my Wix dashboard there have been 11 abandoned carts in the last month, but Klaviyo has only entered 2 of those emails into the flow. I checked how the past year has looked and there were consistently more abandoned carts showing on my Wix dashboard that what was pulled over to Klaviyo. Any idea why this is happening?

Hi! This could be due to a few reasons:

 

1. Sync Delay: Sometimes, Wix and Klaviyo don’t sync instantly, causing some carts to be missed.

  

2. Email Capture: If customers didn’t provide an email or checked out as guests, their carts won’t show in Klaviyo.

 

3. Flow Settings: Check your Klaviyo flow for any filters that might block carts.

It depends on what Wix’s definition of abandon cart is. If it’s simply there was something in their cart, but no purchase then I suspect the main issue is either:

  1. You have not collected their email to be able to enter them in a flow or
  2. There is some issue with wix not sending a “wix identified” email to klaviyo or
  3. You have a filter in your flows preventing some carts from proceeding

Another important thing to note is that there is no historical sync of Abandoned Checkout events, only a sync going forward from the time you integrate. So if you integrated 7 days ago, Klaviyo is only going to sync the Abandoned Checkout events from the past 7 days, not any of the days before that. This could explain why you are seeing more events in Wix than you are in Klaviyo.
