Can the profile_id be defined by me?

According to the Klaviyo API, to update or get a user profile, it's required to use the profile_id as the endpoint.

I want to check if is there a way to use our custom ID as the profile_id, allowing us to directly update user data from our database to Klaviyo?

Or are there alternative effective methods to achieve this scenario?

At this time, you’d need to use the profile ID to perform these actions. I will definitely forward this to our Product team in the meantime for consideration in future releases.
