Hi,

The last line to get a custom domain is a TXT. I am hosted on AWS.

Every time I try to go in and create that TXT record, I get this error:”A record with the specified name already exists.”

Is that because we already have a TXT with our domain name that allows us to get our emails in outlook?

How can we have both?

Thanks,

Hi @Apo,

I believe there is one of two things going on: (1) either you’re trying to use the same domain + subdomain for Klaviyo emails and Outlook emails or (2) you already have the Klaviyo TXT record added.

If you’re using the same exact domain and subdomain for the emails, I don’t think that’s going to work. Do not quote me on that, but I think you’ll need a dedicated subdomain for Klaviyo that’s different than the one you use for Outlook.

If it’s the latter–you’ve already added the TXT record–you’re good to go. You should be able to filter on TXT records and check if you already have a TXT record with Klaviyo’s value.

Cheers,

Kevin.
