We use Klaviyo's 2024-02-15 version of events-api to synchronize customer information. Our system shows that the phone number returned by you is not standardized. Can you explain to us how you verify the phone number?

Hey @yuchongyang

Thanks for posting in the community.

Can I check if the message you’ve shared is from the non-Klaviyo system?

It looks like this has been an issue for some time - can you confirm if the following is the same problem you’re experiencing?

Thanks,

Ross

Hi @yuchongyang,

Let me know if the thread that ross_hopkins posted above answers your questions. To summarize, when making an API call to Klaviyo, the phone number must be in a valid format for the call to succeed. A valid phone number format would be “+15005550006” for instance. Does this answer your question? If not, let us know!
