Will events created through SMS Campaigns be included in Get all events for all metrics API?

Hello @hirthik,

When you mean “events created through SMS Campaigns” are you talking about SMS metrics recorded in response to users interacting with a SMS campaign such as Received SMS, Clicked SMS, Unsubscribed from SMS, etc? If so, I don’t see why the https://a.klaviyo.com/api/v1/metrics/timeline endpoint wouldn’t include these events as it’s meant to return all events in your account as highlighted in the Get Events for All Metrics API Reference guide.

If so, each events will be referring to either a campaign[$message] or a flow[$flow] right !? In SMS metrics - Events, to what it will be referring to !?. Since we do not have an API to fetch all SMS Campaigns, i am asking this question.

Hey @hirthik,

I believe I know what you’re getting at and you’re understanding is correct!

Those SMS specific metrics, similar to the email specific metrics will include a $flow and $message fields in the https://a.klaviyo.com/api/v1/metrics/timeline api’s response body. Since both SMS and email specific metrics are recorded in response to your customers' interactions with a specific message, these details will be passed along as metadata in addition to a variety of other data points.
