Two different campaign with same name shows as one in metric API

When I create two different campaign with same name in dashboard and I sent them I am able to do it.
Now when I access their metric using aggregate metric API I am able to see all data merged as one campaign, is this expected

@Vandit I guess my one question would be, what is the reason for using the same campaign name? There must be something different about them? The only reason I could see using the same campaign name would be to do what it is doing, to merge the data.
