We currently have our Klaviyo account set up with Big Commerce.  We have the funnel set up that three emails are generated for shopping carts.  One the day of, two the next day and the third one is sent 4 days later, what happens if the price changes during the time the first one and the fourth one is sent? Does it change the price on the email?

The answer is always it depends but since the abandoned cart is triggered based on the data coming in from the original event/checkout this data is re-used in the subsequent emails as well. In order to show a changed price you would have to use data from the product feed and not the event.

Klaviyo has a price drop flow, you should be able to add this one to send out separate emails if a price has dropped.

Hi Tammy,

I’m not 100% sure, but I believe it should since the product data being pulled is dynamic before the send vs a static price throughout the flow.

Would be interested as well if anyone has the 100% answer on this.

Ahhh, good to know @Omar.  I hadn’t come across this situation before.  Thanks!
