Assigning Segment with multiple Forms

I have several unique sign-up forms to one SMS list. Is it possible to assign segment depending on what form they used to subscribe to the main SMS list?
I could create several SMS list and select the different sign-up forms to the SMS list but I was told it was better to use segments.

yes, all design in the Sign-up Forms tab, if I understand your question.
