1: What would be definition for create this segment see how many SMS contacts we have in Klaviyo from Texas? (segment size)
2: how much rev do we see from Texas and how much do we want to grow this area (across all channels) - please pull Year to Date

I have these two questions. How we can execute this in Klaviyo

Hi @sachin16 - Thanks for your question, here is what I’d suggest.

Here is how to create a Segment for Texas SMS contacts:

  • Create a dynamic segment of all contacts where State = Texas, and exclude this segment from all SMS sends and flows.
  • Because user profile data may be missing or inaccurate, exclude the area codes. Texas area codes include: 210, 214, 254, 281, 325, 346, 361, 409, 430, 432, 469, 512, 682, 713, 737, 806, 817, 830, 832, 903, 915, 936, 940, 956, 972, 979
  • Be aware that someone could live in Texas but not have an area code or be tagged as State = Texas, there is always going to be some possibility of leakage.

Use the Segment Performance Report

  • Go to Analytics → Segment Performance.

  • Choose the segment in question.

  • Filter by your desired date range.

  • You’ll see metrics like Placed Order Revenue, Orders, Conversion Rate, etc.

  • This is the closest “direct” view of revenue attributed to that segment.
