Hello, i am trying to insert a coupon code into our welcome flow but am being met with this issue:

Unable to find coupon with code: ITSGIRLTIME. It may have been deleted.

This is the code i am using to insert the code into the email:

{%coupon_code 'ITSGIRLTIME'%}

Does anyone know why this isnt working? The code is definitely still active and i have added codes so they are available.

It had previously worked fine, i tried deleting the coupon and re creating

Any advice would be appreciated thanks so much

I’ve had an issue with this before - it looks to be that the commas are the wrong type of commas.

If you take it straight from this article https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005084727 ( {% coupon_code 'CouponName' %} ) and put it into Klaviyo, and then change the part in inverted commas to ITSGIRLTIME it should work.

Sometimes if you copy it from an external source such as notes or Google Docs the commas change to the incorrect type! Let me know if this works.

I made my coupon codes universal content to get round this happening again and it’s saved me so much time!

Hi @Girltime Beauty ,

This issue might be due to incorrect quotation marks. Try retyping the code manually in Klaviyo instead of copying from an external source:

👉 {% coupon_code 'ITSGIRLTIME' %}

If the issue persists, double-check that the coupon is active in Klaviyo. Let me know if you need further help!

Best,
Michael

Still not working :(

Hi @Girltime Beauty !

Checking in - were you able to get the coupon code to work? If not, please make sure that the coupon is created here in your Coupons tab (https://www.klaviyo.com/coupons).

Once the coupon is created you shouldn’t see the error persist, but if you do I would recommend reaching out to our Support Team (https://www.klaviyo.com/support) so they can take a look for you!
