Embed Image over 5MB

Question

I tried to insert an 11MB gif via an embed code loaded on an external resource with excellent results.

For this I wonder why a file larger than 5MB can not be uploaded to Klaviyo but can be done via embed?

Hey @Vincenzo CasseseWelcome back to the community, thanks for asking about image file sizeWhile Klaviyo allows you to add up to 5MB per image/GIF (maximum size limit). We do recommend keeping any image/GIF below 2 MB max to optimize email loading times. 1MB should work fine and is best practice overall. You want to think about load time, especially for mobile recipients who are not on WiFi or those withouta fast internet connection, a GIF of 5MB is a huge file and would take a long time to load.Hope this helps!
