Hey everyone, 

As a business we are in the middle of implementing a new initiative for Gift Reminders where customers can add dates and occasions and will then receive reminders ahead of that date. Think Moonpig reminder but this is for gifts not cards. 

Are there any brands in the community that are currently doing this that would be willing to share some email template designs to help spark some ideas? Happy to connect privately if not comfortable sharing in a wider forum.

Yes we are doing this. The way we are achieving this is by gather at point of checkout if it is a gift, in our “Who is it for?” question, using Checkout Blocks to ask the question. You may not need to do this if you have another way to ascertain what is and isn’t a gift order.

We then use shopify flow to trigger both and event and a customer property n Klaviyo against a profile.

As this is an event, it can be used as a trigger:

Then when it comes to the setup, you can define, your delay but 330 is just under 11 months before, some something similar to this with some date conditions for more transactional days will work
