Help with exporting a list

Hi @Aerableteam ,

The issue you’re experiencing might be due to a temporary glitch or a problem with the data in your list. Here’s how to troubleshoot:

1. Retry the Export: Cancel the export and try again. Sometimes restarting the process resolves temporary issues.

2. Check List Size: If the list is large, export smaller segments by applying filters or splitting the list into smaller groups.

3. Review Data Integrity: Check your list for incomplete or corrupted data (e.g., improperly formatted email addresses) that could cause the export to hang.

4. Test Another List: Try exporting a different list to see if the issue is specific to this one.

5. Contact Support: If the problem persists, reach out to Klaviyo Support with the list name and details of the issue for further assistance.

Let me know if you need help implementing any of these steps!

Best,
NOAH

It seems like my plan doesn’t allow me to chat nor email an expert. What do you recommend i do? I tried again and its stuck at 26/53.

Hi @Aerableteam,

If you're unable to access Klaviyo's support due to your plan, here are some alternative recommendations to resolve your issue:

1. Retry with Smaller Segments

• Divide your list into smaller segments (e.g., by creating filters such as "last opened date" or "added before/after a specific date").
• Export these smaller segments separately to identify if a particular part of the list is causing the issue.

2. Inspect for Corrupted Data

• Navigate to your list and review entries for any anomalies (e.g., invalid email formats, missing required fields, or unsupported special characters).
• Use the "Clean List" feature in Klaviyo to check for problematic profiles.

3. Attempt a CSV Download

• If the export function in the UI is failing, try using Klaviyo's API to export your list as a CSV:
  • Go to Klaviyo API Docs and look for the endpoint to export lists.
  • Generate an API key in your account and use a tool like Postman to fetch the data.

4. Clear Browser Cache or Use Incognito Mode

• Sometimes, browser issues can interfere with functionality. Clear your browser's cache or try exporting using a private/incognito browser session.

5. Contact Community Forums

• Since your plan doesn’t include direct support, you can post on the Klaviyo Community Forums with details about the issue (excluding sensitive data). Other users or experts often share helpful insights.

Let me know if you'd like detailed guidance on any of these steps, and I’d be happy to assist further!

Best regards,
Micheal
