How can I ensure we don't send to our Australian SMS subscribers?

Is there a way to disable the SMS for Australia? If so how? Don’t have the bandwidth to deal with another country’s legal/compliance forms at the moment.

What happens if I do nothing?

    Hi there @Kinozoom

Thanks for sharing your question with us! Happy to help!

If you don’t want to face any possible legal or compliance issues when sending to Australia, then it would be best to exclude them from you SMS sends via excluding them in your SMS segment. To ensure that you aren’t sending SMS to Australians, I would include these segment conditions in your SMS sending segment below. This specific sending condition will make sure you only send to users in the countries you want to send to and no Australian numbers could possibly trickle past.

Properties about someone > phone number > country code in > _______(insert the countries you do want to send to).
