How do I petition for Klaviyo to support emojis in HTML email?

Specifically, since the preview text must be included in the content of the HTML email, we’re not able to include any emojis in the preview text which significantly reduces the performance of the email and is off brand. Can you please fix this?

Welcome to the Community! Thanks for your question!

Yes, unfortunately we do not support emojis in HTML at this point. The product team is aware of this pain point for our customers and I am more than willing to submit another feature request on your behalf!

As a workaround, I suggest using images of the emojis and adding the images of emojis in through the <img src=""> tag within the HTML.

Hi Taylor! Would appreciate you sending along another feature request to the product team. Unfortunately the <img> tag workaround does not work in this case because it isn’t supported in Preview Text, otherwise I would have used it.

Hi,

We also need emoji support in custom HTML emails.

The workaround is not a option for us, so please implement this into the API

I am new to Klaviyo and I’m working on my first email flow and I also need emoji support. I will try the image sourcing but others are saying that doesn’t work so if we could really get emoji support that would be awesome! I create my templates in Stripo and import them to Klaviyo.
