We have played around with some other apps such as Sleeknote (it was bit buggy) and OptinMonster in the past. However as the native pop up tool has improved greatly we have been using again for the past year. However I am beginning to doubt both its lack of features and accuracy with regards to visibility..
What are your thoughts and if using a third party app which do you recommend?

I highly recommend checking out Justuno. You can run some basic pop up captures. But if you want to focus on visitor conversion. They have some really advance targeting features that allow you to determine when, where, and who sees your marketing campaigns. Plus, I really love their design canvas and settings. More optin = better Klaviyo performance.
