How to add an email subscribe link to a flow

I am setting up a Post-Purchase Flow and as part of that flow I would like to invite buyers to sign up for my email list. I have already set up a Welcome Flow with a pop-up sign-up form on the website that provides a 15% coupon for signing up. How can I do the same thing but with the invite being included in a post-purchase email.

I have reviewed the attached video from Klaviyo which says that one way is to “add an email subscribe link to a flow” but I cannot find any instructions anywhere to do this.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Anthony

HI @ahutch ! Thank you for reaching out to the community!

Happy to help with your above question - it sounds like you are looking to include a link in your email that directs a recipient to a subscribe page. Please follow the below steps to find the subscribe page link to include in your email:

  1. Navigate to your Lists and Segments tab.
  2. Choose the list that you would like email recipients to subscribe to.
  3. From the top menu bar, select Sign-up forms.
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
  5. If you customized new consent pages for this list, you'll find a Subscribe page card at the bottom of the page. Click the 3 dots menu, then select Copy URL:

  1. If your list uses the default consent pages,  you'll see a menu reminder that you can customize consent pages for this specific list. Beneath this reminder, click Copy Subscribe Page URL:
  1. You can then paste this URL into a CTA button in your email. Recipients who click on this link will be brought to a subscribe page serving as a landing page where they can sign up to hear more from you brand.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any follow-up questions!

Smart idea. Post-purchase is often one of the best moments to ask for subscription because trust is already higher than on a cold site visit.

Usually the cleaner approach is not trying to force a hidden “subscribe link,” but sending buyers to a dedicated signup page or preference page from the email. There they can explicitly opt in, receive the 15% coupon, and be added to your Welcome Flow or a separate post-purchase segment.

A few tips:

  • make consent clear and separate

  • mention the benefit plainly (future offers, tips, loyalty perks, coupon)

  • keep the click path simple

  • exclude people already subscribed

  • test timing so it doesn’t compete with order-update emails

This kind of lifecycle thinking matters a lot in lead gen for ecommerce and SaaS too. I know teams like SalesAR focus on systems that use warm moments well instead of only chasing new traffic. Same principle here: easier conversion after trust exists.

I’d treat it as a mini re-acquisition flow rather than just another signup form.
