How to avoid creating duplicate List

I Have created the list with xyz name, If I try to create using the List same name API is allowing it.

how we can avoid duplicate creation ?

    Hey @venkatย 

    Thank you so much for reaching out to the community for help with this!

    As long as the list name created in klaviyo is exactly the same as the list name via API, your list import will not duplicate the list but will add profiles that do not currently exist.ย

    I have seen creating duplicates if i try to create 2 times
