How to show variation-specific prices on browse abandon?

We have a browse abandon flow and we have a case where the product shown was the less expensive variation of the product, but once clicked, on the website it defaults to the most expensive variation, so now we have a case where customers said they demand the marketed price to be honored.

Is there a Django code snippet that we can leverage? what would be the best approach?

We were thinking on adding a “Starts” before the price for now, but in this case it will show for ALL products regardless of them having price variations or not, so it a product doesn’t have variations and costs $50, it will say “starts $50”. This is not a good experience overall.

    Hi @sperezclavier,

    Welcome to the Community.

The price displayed in the Browse Abandonment flow derives from the Viewed Product event captured on your website. This only tracks the parent product price. The way to go about editing this would depend on your integration you are using for your shop. We are unable to offer any support for customizations. Depending on the integration you have, one thing I was wondering is if you are using any type of plugin/add-on to manage product inventory and additions. Sometimes these can overwrite some basic functionality.

For now, if you manually select products from your catalog you are able to manually update the price that shows in the email. This will allow you to feature your products. We strongly encourage to make the changes with a developer and if you need further assistance with the customization, you can reach out to our Partners here.

    Thanks,

    Alex
