IMAGE SELECTOR FOR PRODUCTS

Question

WHY is it not easy to CHOOSE an image for a product tile, in most cases there are 3 or 4 images with each product, and in some cases I have variants (so there are more images to choose from), however the only option is the FIRST image.  Constant Contact had this feature (at least 9 years ago!) that when you selected a product, it showed you all the images and you clicked on the one you wanted to use.

You’re right, when a product has several gallery images or variants, being limited to the default image makes product tiles much less useful, especially when the lifestyle image is the one you want to feature.Today, Klaviyo product blocks work at the product level, so they don’t support choosing an individual variant or selecting another image from the product gallery. That behavior reflects the way the block is designed to pull one canonical product representation from the catalog, keeping product details consistent and allowing them to update dynamically across feeds and automated messages. The tradeoff is less manual control over which gallery image appears.For now, the available workarounds are to update the product’s default image in your ecommerce catalog, build the tile manually with an image and button block, or use a custom catalog if you need variant-level data.This is a clear product request, and the Constant Contact comparison and example use case are helpful context for improving the experience.
