Integrations - User Permissions

Hello,

I am trying to add a Custom Audience however getting an error message.

I am going to Integrations > Meta Ads > Add Connection > then trying to add a custom audience but an error message pops up;

"Unable to create audience.  Check your Facebook Ads permissions and re-authenticate."

But I have Full Permission, checked it so many times, everything is in order according to help flows etc, re-authenticate is not helping…. does anyone know what to do here?

Thank you so much, I am so stumped by it.

With thanks, Jess

    Thank you so much Arpit. @ArpitBanjara

    I sell skincare products.

    My Klaviyo subscription does not allow for Klaviyo Customer Support so I was recommended to try in the Community Forum.

    But as you say it is sounding like it may need more attention, I may need to upgrade to access.

    Thank you again, I appreciate your advice.

    Kind Regards

    Jessica

    Hey @JessicaCP

    It sounds like you've already taken a lot of the correct steps, including ensuring that your permissions are in order and trying to re-authenticate. If. you dont mind sharing, what type of products do you sell? Sometimes, if you are selling a restricted product, it is possible that the platforms can’t share data with each other.

    Are you able to connect to meta customer support or klaviyo customer support? this might need to be looked upon in more detail and they might help you do that.

    I hope your issue gets resolved,

    Cheers

    Hi @JessicaCP

    Have you already solved this issue? If not, I’d check out my recommendations below!

    Another possible cause for that message could occur because you have not yet accepted the terms of service in Meta for custom audiences.

     If that is the case, I would recommend going to the following link: https://business.facebook.com/ads/manage/customaudiences/tos/?act={id}

    Replace the "{id}" placeholder with your Facebook account ID.  Once you've accepted the terms, please try connecting the integration again and attempt to create your custom audience once again.  You should be able to do so with no errors at that point.

    Let us know if that worked!

    Great pointer, however the link isn’t valid anymore unfortunately….. any chance that you have the updated URL? Thanks, Cindy
