My email campaign went out with Preview text that should have read “New Arrival . . . “ but instead, the text “[Preview]” appeared before “New Arrival.” (see photo)

Why is this happening? This was the actual email campaign, not the preview or test send. And I double checked the Preview text input field to make sure it had the correct text before I sent it out.

This has happened on two different email campaigns.

Hi @Osan !

This text is actually appearing because you have added a ‘Subject Prefix’ to your preview emails. You can locate and change this setting by going into your Settings > Email > Sender Preferences and then scrolling down to ‘Preview emails’:

To be clear, this prefix will NOT show up for any live email sends - only when you are previewing/testing the email.

I hope this helps, and please let me know if you have any additional questions!
