Price Drop Flows - Avoiding out of stock SKUs

Hi there,

We are trying to build a Price Drop Flow that avoids sending to shoppers when the specific SKU (size of a clothing style, for example) that they have added to their cart or browsed, is out of stock. Is there a way to do this?

We use Shopify to manage our online store.

Thanks!

Hey @Justine

Unfortunately all variants under a product would have to be marked as “0” for it to be unpublished and therefor excluded.

Hey @Justine

Thank you so much for reaching out for help with your price drop flow!

You can review this guide on How to configure out-of-stock items for automated flows on Shopify. You will have to modify the product block source code of the email in your Price Drop flow with the code snippet in the linked article. This should stop any products that are “unpublished” it your catalog from showing.

Hope this helps!

Unfortunately, if inventory is 0 for one or more SKUs under a product, the product is still marked as “published”. Is there a way to target SKU instead of product?

Got it - that’s what I thought was the case. Thank you.
