Segment count vs. Campaign send count

I just created a Segment with a count of 761.

When I set up a Campaign using that Segment, it showed an estimated send count of just 637.

I assume I’m missing something obvious in how this works – but why the discrepency?

This is likely due to the segment including suppressed profiles.

If you include an AND condition to your segment ‘can receive email marketing’, is your segment count now 637?
