Sudden Spike in Click Rates for hotmail

Hi,

Is it just me or did everyone witness a sudden spike in click rates via hotmail/outlook. Like its a huge spike.

Yes, there have been increasing reports lately of bot clicks in emails. I’ve heard that Microsoft email clients (e.g. Outlook) is one source of these where it’s most prevalent.

Klaviyo published an article here [Understanding bot-clicks] that goes into more detail on the topic. One solution to consider trying is implementing dedicated click tracking. That sounds helpful in theory, as links that appear more reputable and include your domain might not attract as much bot attention/clicks.

Hi @Bobby! We noticed this as well. Looking at emails that we sent out over the weekend, it looks like they are back to our common click rates. Was this something that got fixed?
