The social media icon for "email" takes me to my website

I tried to use an Href and also just typing out my email address in the email field but it changes once I click the same button and removes the first part of the email address and only uses the end which goes to my website.

Is there a work around available?

In order to populate the email field, you’ll want to follow our guide here. In short, set the link URL to mailto:youremail@example.com, replacing youremail@example.com with the email address you'd like to send to.
