Viewed Product event not working

Hi guys!


I’m trying to set up a Browse Abandonment Flow for my Shopify store. When I go to my Integration settings I am met with this message. 

However, when I go to my Shopify Admin the App Embed for onsite tracking is already switched on. 
 


For reference the Theme we have on Shopify is an uploaded theme created by a web development agency we worked with in the past. I suspect this could be the issue preventing the onsite tracking from working properly. Klaviyo is able to measure Active on Site, but we’re unable to get any data for Viewed Product events. Does anyone have experience with this issue? Do we need to change our theme back to a Shopify theme?

    I would suggest search for “https://static.klaviyo.com/onsite/js/klaviyo.js” in your website source code to validate if the script is loading or not

    Hello @samstjohn 

     

    The issue is with the custom made theme. Onsite tracking works with free Shopify themes.
