Why are my segments not pulling through many if any customers from the website?

Has anyone else found that segments have changed and it’s not working for them?

I found that before the update I could pull all the data from previous purchasers since we created our shopify supported website to find unique customers.

I was able to make segments such as “only customers who has bought X product in the last 3 years” and pull up thousands of people. Now when I do it I’m not pulling any one through or if I am I’m pulling through 1-2 people (literally) even though when I do a manual export from shopify (to create a list) I’ll have thousands of customers even after removing duplicates.

Any idea what’s going on here? I’ve noticed new terminology for ‘where’ to help with the filtering process but I’m not sure why it’s changed so drastically.

Hi @JackHD, glad to see you back in the community.

The segment you roughly define is a common Segment I build all the time for Shopify merchants. To be specific, here’s typical rule:

“Customers who has done (or not done), Placed Order over all time where Items includes any of {{Item Names}}”

These have been working fine in the past, and continue to be working from all the accounts where I have something similar to this.

Can you share a screenshot of your definition/rule?

I’m not crazy, it wasn’t working yesterday I promise haha! I’ve cloned the segment and tried again. It’s now working fine.

All I did was clone the segment, delete {{Item Names}}, then re-added them and now it’s working fine.
